Explosive new 9/11 evidence

How the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings came down—especially the 47 story Building 7, which wasn’t hit by a plane but collapsed completely into its footprint in 6.5 seconds—is a major sticking point in the official 9/11 narrative. More than 700 professional engineers and architects have called for a new investigation because of the incompatibility of the official pancake theory with the laws of physics

Likewise much evidence has been discovered of traces of the explosive thermate at the collapse site.

But now a paper by nine scientists published in a peer-reviewed physics journal conclusively shows the presence in dust samples from the Twin Towers of unignited aluminothermic explosives,

whose chemical signature matches documented residues Jones found earlier—extrapolating from the samples, there were tons of nano-thermite, which can only be created by sophisticated technology.

Niels Harrit, the Danish scientist in the study, called this not the smoking gun, but the loaded gun—conclusive proof of demolition.

But almost as intriguing as this evidence is the information that has surfaced about The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the agency that officially analyzed the WTC collapses.

NIST never even considered the possibility of explosives, even though fire investigation protocol as well as outside scientists demanded it. When a reporter asked why NIST hadn’t looked for evidence of explosives, NIST’s spokesperson replied, "Right, because there was no evidence of that." Reporter: "But how can you know there’s no evidence if you don’t look for it first?"’ NIST: "If you’re looking for something that isn’t there, you’re wasting your time…"

Despite the many connections between NIST and nano-thermites, NIST’s complete lack of interest in explosives is not surprising when one looks closely at this supposedly neutral agency. Arden Bement—appointed director of NIST by President Bush immediately after 9/11—was formerly the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Defense and an executive from TRW, the aerospace contractor, both involved in developing and producing nano-thermite.

In addition, the largest contingent of non-governmental investigators working on the NIST WTC investigation came from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a multi-billion dollar private contractor known for fraud and deceit, which Donald L. Barlett and James L. Steele called the "invisible hand behind a huge portion of the national-security state" and the "fraternal twin of the intelligence establishment" because of the many former CIA operatives, National Security Administration executives, and Pentagon officials who make up the company—which profited astronomically in the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan.

SAIC also developed and formulated nano-thermites. Interestingly, SAIC evaluated the WTC for terrorism risks in 1986 and also oversaw the late 1990s security upgrades at the WTC.

This, of course, is pure coincidence. Unless you’re a conspiracy theorist.

But then my connection to politics has always been conspiracist. From the Kennedy and MLK assassinations, to Watergate, IranContra, the S&L collapse and Enron—in each event, the "conspiracy theory" turned out to be the truer explanation.

Conspiracy—collusion of two or more people pursuing illegal means to effect some illegal or immoral end—happens all the time. Michael Parenti writes, "Those who suffer from conspiracy phobia are fond of saying: ‘Do you actually think there’s a group of people sitting around in a room plotting things…’ Indeed, they meet in rooms: corporate boardrooms, Pentagon command rooms, at the Bohemian Grove, in the choice dining rooms at the best restaurants, resorts, hotels, and estates, in the many conference rooms at the White House, the NSA, the CIA, or wherever. And, yes, they consciously plot—though they call it ‘planning’ and ‘strategizing’—and they do so in great secrecy, often resisting all efforts at public disclosure" (Dirty Truths, 1996, pp 172-191).

Yet "conspiracy theorist" is the term of choice to discredit those who search out better explanations of 9/11—used as often by the left as by the right!

Nonetheless, the 9/11 truth movement may be the largest grass roots movement happening these days. With no sponsors or outside funding, and despite mockery, angry denunciations, and total media silence, the movement has attracted "truthers" of all ages, from all classes, and from left to right.

Beyond their differences, "truthers" are united against government deception and usurpation of power, illegal wars, and attacks on the Constitution. United by the internet too, with thousands of people investigating, researching, interacting, and by necessity making their own media. The absolute and total blackout of this huge quantity of substantiated 9/11 information in corporate news seems, paradoxically, proof it’s too hot to handle.

But I am more and more confident that truth will out.

Why Propaganda Trumps Truth

September 15, 2009 "Information Clearing House" -- -An article in the journal, Sociological Inquiry, casts light on the effectiveness of propaganda. Researchers examined why big lies succeed where little lies fail. Governments can get away with mass deceptions, but politicians cannot get away with sexual affairs.

The researchers explain why so many Americans still believe that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11, years after it has become obvious that Iraq had nothing to do with the event. Americans developed elaborate rationalizations based on Bush administration propaganda that alleged Iraqi involvement and became deeply attached to their beliefs. Their emotional involvement became wrapped up in their personal identity and sense of morality. They looked for information that supported their beliefs and avoided information that challenged them, regardless of the facts of the matter.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler explained the believability of the Big Lie as compared to the small lie: “In the simplicity of their minds, people more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have such impudence. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and continue to think that there may be some other explanation.”

What the sociologists and Hitler are telling us is that by the time facts become clear, people are emotionally wedded to the beliefs planted by the propaganda and find it a wrenching experience to free themselves. It is more comfortable, instead, to denounce the truth-tellers than the liars whom the truth-tellers expose.

Were we to admit internal conspiracy, we fear, (in this nation of "freedom and justice for all") the same repulsion, disrespect, demeaning attacks as experienced by Rosie O'Donnell and another famous hollywood actor. Remember the USS Maine? The truth will never be known. Also take in your point of the Kennedys, MLK, etc. Everybody is not stupid enough to accept fallacious statements of a country totally at ease within its own borders longing and hungering for some Mickey Ds, Cokes, Pepsis, KFCs in sufficient quantities to attack us 9,000 miles away. Such stupidity. It's our mentality to depend on those we consider "above us" politicians as truthsayers. Lord help.jam
